It does actually snow down here... maybe once or twice a winter. Perhaps Rick is trying to be very, very prepared.

When I had googled the annual snowfall for that area is about 3 inches so getting snowmobiles, no clue if you would even find any in that area, seems beyond silly.

season 1. when that dudes wife was trying to get in the house. rick was standing by the door looking through the peep hole watching his first zombie. she turned the knob.

Thought it was interesting how neither of the zombie cops had any bite marks. I'm guessing that somewhat reaffirms what others in this thread have been saying about the comic/speculating as to what the CDC guy whispered to Rick - we're all infected already.

yea, i love how these assholes are spoiling the TV show for us, thanks a lot dicks.

i thought it was funny too how now they don't care about blood of zombies being all over them, especially after they had open wounds from cutting themselves to bait the zombies.

good episode all around though. i guess the first half of season 2 didn't get any zombies because they were saving them all for the second half. seen probably 1000x more zombies the past 2 eps than the entire first half of the season.

i also enjoyed the quality time that rick and shane had together the whole episode.

I hope not. In my opinion Shane makes this show. I think without him the show would become a bit boring as I don't think the others could make up for what he brings to the table.

Yeah, I wasn't being too serious about it. You might be able to use a snowmobile during some of our worse snowfalls. We had one last January that was maybe 3" or so, which would probably be the bare minimum to use a snowmobile. I assume you'd destroy the treads if you used them on anything less (depending on the ground).

This was a great episode! My love for the show is defiantly coming back! That whole "find Sophia" crap really killed it for me, however, now that it is over with... They are moving the story along nicely.

I really love Andrea, her character is really awesome. Shane is also really growing on me as well. I just hope the pair does not split form the group.

Worth noting tho, I feel like they got me on a bait and switch for sure! In the preview I just knew they were going somewhere, but I was completely wrong! That kind of thing really keep me interested, and keeps me guessing. I am excited for what the show has in store for us next week.

I feel the exact same way, first series I couldn't wait for the next week, second series I felt the same for the first episode then gradually lost interest until I ultimately forgot when it was on. I'm interested again and can't wait for Sunday

having everyone turn into a zombie upon death is a neat twist, adds some longevity to the zombie threat. otherwise just need to survive a couple seasons until the infected bodies deteriorate down to nothingness

That was my first reaction too, but if you think about it these bodies have been essentially decaying for weeks, would make sense that would include the skull. Not like zombies are big on calcium.

But yeah in reality punching a knife through a skull like that is hard as fuck, and you need a damn strong knife to start with.

That was the biggest wtf moment for me this week. Well one of the two. The other one was why would they leave the guy in the middle of a deserted town like that. I personally would rather take my chances in an open field instead of a city where you know zombies were.

I thought perhaps they were thinking of scrounging a vehicle or supplies for him.

On the other, I've thought all along they were rather too casual about exposure to walker blood. How many times has Daryl shot walkers with the bolt that stuck into his side after his tumble off the cliff?

I use it in the summer to get my favorite drink from 20 miles away: zombie blood.
