I'm pretty sure it DID say 512, at least for a little while. I placed an order for that stuff yesterday morning, even showed it to a friend here at work. But when I got the SO# and pulled it up the order showed 256 sticks as did the webpage by that point. It's possible we both misread it (plus my friend at work) but that doesn't seem very likely.
