the comparison's lame. you can buy a new v6 camry for the price they were quoted by toyota for a 4 cyllinder. Since when does anyone buy a car at MSRP?
It's awefully coincidental that the price range was exactly at the top level sonata.
oh well, i'm just a toyota fan boy despite driving a maxima.

Who the hell pays MSRP for a Hyundai? You could then easily then say that you could a pretty much loaded Sonata for around the same price as quoted for the LX they tested.

yes, they could have bought a fully loaded sonata for the LX quote. and they DID. according to edmunds, the LX is the top of the line model and there's just a $1500 sunroof package that you can add to it.
my point was the awefully coincidental part, the money they decided to spend matched the price of the top sonata exactly. I disagree with the presentation that the sonata beats the accord and camry. That test hasn't been done yet.
I'll agree they say that the sonata is better at this price point, but I feel it's wrong to say it beats the accord and camry without comparing equivalently equipped vehicles.

Man, some people just cannot accept that Hyundai finally makes a really good car.
Someone also stated that the Hyundai warranty is void unless you go to the dealer evey 3,000 mi. like clockwork to get it serviced. Thats absolute BS. I have a 2000 Elantra and I NEVER took it to the dealer, and about 6 months ago the power window mechanism on the drivers side crapped out and they fixed it no questions asked, no charge. And they even knew that I had a K&N air filter, Bosch platinum Plus 4 spark plugs, and used synthetic oil. The warranty on Hyundai's is great.

You mean they didn't ask for your engine maintenance records to warranty a power window mechanism???:roll:
