An easy check is to count the legs on the ram chips. 24 pins = 16Mb single sided and 32Mb double sided. 20 pins is 4/8Mb ram. This normally works except for a few weird Simms that Compaq used with 4 large chips of 2mb each.
It sounds like a 64Mb ECC Simm, that is one with error correction normally used in older servers. An easy check is to count the legs on the ram chips. 24 pins = 16Mb single sided and 32Mb double sided. 20 pins is 4/8Mb ram. This normally works except for a few weird Simms that Compaq used with 4 large chips of 2mb each.
