8GB is coming down the pipe. Larger screen too.

Downside, looks to be around $540.

I've played with the 2GB and 4GB models and they're pretty spiffy.

I'd just but in an SDHC card if you need extra space. Much less money and just about as fast.

how is the cloudbook any good deal? I payed for a compaq laptop, 160gbhdd 1gb ram (i upgraded to 4) vista and pent dual core witha 13.1 inch screen.

Sometimes, depends on if I bring lunch or where I get it from.

Yep, that's what I bought mine for, we have one pc in the lunchroom, and I don't want to be the guy who hogs it all the time...

I ordered a black 4G surf from ZZF, hope I don't brick it hacking it

Yep I would keep it locked in my cubicle drawer, what's the battery life like?

Around 1.5 hours with WiFi is all I need.

USB hack, solder the headers near the mini-pci slot and you can add internal bluetooth or more memory based off of a usb stick. Pretty nifty little item, I really want to get one.

I've played with one and found the keyboard unusable. I do have pretty big hands, and can be a little fat-fingered, but I can't type on one at all.

Do you have a Blackberry? I have a tmobile Wing with a mini keyboard & I can manage to use it fairly well.

Some folk are modding a touchscreen onto theirs. The next couple of generations should be much better, and there's several different units near production that are similar.

My employer has free WiFi for patients and their families, a nice fast unsecured connection.
