Eeek~! System wont boot

Alrite, this is the situation, i decided to flash my bios to the newest version last nite, so i pop in the disk, and flash as i do it normally. it starts flashing, i turn around and play with my gamecube, i hear some weird beeps, turn around, and see that the HD light is running and nothing on my screen, so im thinking OMG....so i press the reset button after waiting 10 minutes, and i immediately get a long beep plus two short ones, and then 2 tones that sounds like it came from an old DOS game or something.

i used a different video card, different mem, in the system, same post code. I tried these same things in a friends system and it booted just fine...please please please dont tell me it was a bad flash and now im screwed....

I have the same motherboard, you should have a lcd display on the motherboard. What code do you get?

Reserved, that can't be good. Anyway. . .

A long beep followed by a 2 short beeps, indicates that the bios can not initialise the Video screen. You should perhaps try and use a PCI video card (if you can find one). You should then flash your bios again.

well i tried a different agp video card, and that didn't work, also i tried my video card, on another machine, and that was fine...but i will scour the streets for a pci card and see whats up

any clue on the low tones?

actually now, instead of the 2 low tones, i get a continuous high pitched beeping that i have never heard before...its a weird sounding beep

so i take it to some computer shop, and what they tell me is that the bios is completely shot, and there is absolutely no info in there...so what are my options now? would a bad bios/lack of bios prevent me from getting into dos? will it prevent anything from showing up on my monitor? how do I confirm that i need a new bios?
