Yes, big thx to everyone who contributed to this effort. Question tho: was this the only real bug that has now been fixed? Or do you think some minor lesser known bugs and kinks might be worked out in the weeks to come? Some of us more conservative folks may decide to wait if we thought a good likelyhood of better, more stable BIOSes to come later....

all known bugs are currently fixed.
the only thing to note is that 2D mode must be @ 350mhz core. (my offered bios files are @ 350mhz now by default)


no other software is currently needed.
if you wanna OC all you need is coolbits.

So how did you fix the dual problem Thugs? Did you play around with the BIOS manually, or just worked with the new rev. 2 GT?

and from my experience the dual problem was fixed in the rev2 when i downloaded it from mvktech but i could be wrong

i use the LE-GT 1.5v bios.
1.4v only gets me to 420mhz core
1.5v gets me to 435mhz core.

yep, GT rev02 + 350mhz core 2D (default) is what kicked it on for me too.

of course by the time i installed the rev02 bios i had so many hacks and tweaks interfering with my drivers that i had to clean it all out to realize it was working by default @ default!

its a cable problem with some cables.

mine works fine in either port

Sooo....I finally got around to flashing it to LE-GT 1.5v

All I can say is Über 1337 R0X0rz!

All seems to be fine so far and The Auto Fan control is sweet too!

Decent? Seems liks if its an Ultra, running at Ultra speeds, its about the best thing you can get aside from spending $2k on a dual PCI-e SLI setup.

Well, I have been following this for a week or so and finally bit the bullet and ordered one from ZZF. I haven't heard of anybody actually getting theirs from ZZF yet, but I am assuming they are the same thing.

So can we control the 2d and 3d fan speed RPM settings with the Gainward proggy? and bios then spins them up according to sensing 2d vs 3d?

I told a friend to run 3dmark03 at the same time i did
he has a real eVGA 6800 GT

Start:

Real GT:
Case SYS: 28
Card PCB: 42
Card GPU: 60

LE to GT:
Case SYS: 30
Card PCB: 38
Card GPU: 56

Note: My Card TEMPs are lower by 4 C


Ending:

Real GT:
Case SYS: 28
Card PCB: 48
Card GPU: 64

LE to GT:
Case SYS: 33
Card PCB: 44
Card GPU: 60


Conclusion: Temprature increases were about the same
