Using the stock BIOS still, i managed to clock up to 375/1000, scored 4265 on '05, not too bad for a crappy Barton rig.. can't wait for my new mobo and ram to come.. damn you newegg and your "malfunctions"!

So far, so good with my ZZF model. It came stock at 325/700, but after a quick flash to the ultra bios (i am using my lower DVI port via adapter), it looks fine. I am going to start some benchmarking and see how far it can go. I am looking for 400/1200 or so.

So you flashed a 325/700 to an ultra? just confirming, so that i know it is possible when i get ready to do it..

on a second note, anyone here flashed a zzf 325/700 to a GT bios and had it work?

Yep, I flashed the 325/700 straight to an ultra bios. My max overclock is 400/1135, so I am quite happy with that. So, I guess I worried about this whole ZZF bios fiasco too much and it all worked out just fine.

Hi all, just got my card from zzf, was clocked at 325/700. Flashed to ultra 1.4 via floppy, memory goes up to 1100 but the CPU wont budge past 350. If I push it to 351 it gives me
a test failed report. Im using coolbits. I flashed it twice and reinstalled the drives like 10 times. Any ideas?

this is with the stock bios and the LE-GT1.4 bios, and I have tried the 61.34 and the latest Win98/me driver posted on the website. I have not verified the problem with any other apps.
that is a driver error.

to resolve it....

You think 350 is as far as she can go? I'm upgraded from a ati AIW 8500 64MB so I'm impressed as it is. Thanks for your help.

Just a note! If you do anything to your card such as flash the bios or attempt to, reinstalling your drivers will correct a lot of problems (been there) Just do it!!!!

i just got my ZZF card. stock 325/700. it won't do anything! i flashed to the LE-Ultra bios, 1.4v it won't even run the stock 350/1100 properly! lots of artifacts!

help! i'm using the latest Omega drivers, my 12V rail is pretty solid, dips to 11.68V but its still decent, the 27A it pushes should be plenty. i think its software related

Ok if I lower my memory to 950 I can bump up the core to 410. Just got a 3dmark05 of 4700, I'm happy with that. I think the ZZF boards have memory issues.

try using rivatuner to overclock the core past 350 with the memory at 1100 and see if you can get it that way

just played a couple hours of doom3 at 375/1000 on the stock bios, no artifacts, temp was high 50s when i was done.. just gonna wait for my floppy drive to flash it.. dammit i ordered it for hdd utilities/bios flashing (mobo and video) and im gonna get my 7 bucks worth out of it!

my card won't even run 350/900. 3DMark05 simply crashes....

edit: something is very fishy with the ram...

it will run 445/800 no problem.

how could i go about checking the ram if it is in fact GDDR3?

I just got my ZZF card and it is 700/325 and I am not real happy as in the AD that zip zoom has it clearly states 1100mhz not 700 so I am calling Evga tomarrow and see if they will replace my card with a 1100 mhz version as it is false advertizing on both parts stating 1100 mhz on the imfo sheet and shipping 700mhz cards

Just received this from eVga

Please download the following BIOS update which will correct the clock frequencies for the 6800 Limited Edition to 325/1100 Mhz

You will need to save the file from ?n347.ex_? to ?n347.exe?.

Once saved, this program will create a bootable floppy disk which you will use to boot your computer with.

Once booted, it will automatically flash the BIOS for the video card.

you need to email evga that youe 6800 LE is a 325/700

whackwhiteboy, try flashing the 325/1100 le bios that aonic has.. its the one that came with newegg cards and i believe its the same one that they are having people download. If that doesn't work, then email them, they will give you the bios, and if it still doesnt work you can rma it with that bios on it, since they told you to flash it that way
