Can't get the BIOS Cd image to work.
I have burned it with both Alcohol and Nero..

It burns fine... but when the CD starts booting.. and gets to the part to detect the cd drive, I get an error saying El Torito failed to load..

anyone have any idea what the issue is or how to resolve it.

I am still debating whether or not I want to overclock. I can get 450/1150 totally stable and artifact free, but my card may not last to long that way. I orignally thought to myself why bother, all my games already run fantastic. Then I picked up Rollecoastr Tycoon 3. The game looks great, but it has to have some crappy coding because once you crank teh AA/AF, the framerates divebomb. at 4/8x, game settings on ultra high, I have to set the resolution to 800x600 just to get a solid 30fps. On a A64 @ 2.2, 512MB ram, 6800LE 425/1100...I should be getting better than that.

Yes I run it through 3DMark 05 about 5 times but not at that speed...I ran it at 487 / 1320 and I had no problems...The screen shot I showed you was from coolbits first run to detect.

But like I said even though the card will overclock fairly high (to UE speeds), I'm not going to overclock it. I don't really see the point to overclock a $500...even the LE (what I suppost to get) will run any game with good framerates...As of now my card is back at 400 / 1100 and it's very happy

go to power user, and open the Monitoring tab.. look for sources and make sure it says: +Core clock,+Memory clock,+Core VID,+Core temperature,+Ambient temperature

I think thats what does it.

look above you post but again no way if you have things like cpu or motherboard hooked up to it. Man it is time to get a new PSU, trust me it will get a good investment regardless of you buying this card.

What was your score at that speed, and your score at stock speeds? I have been finding that higher speeds actually give a lower score after a certain point. there is a sweet spot somewhere in the middle.

could just make a bootable CD from the floppy image in nero.. I might just do that at a friends house.

Well I am running mine on a 400W with 16A on the 12v line.. its just barely enough.. its a cheap generic compusa psu. I plan to replace it soon, but for now, it works, somewhat.. but i only have 1 HD, 1 DVD/CD, and 1 case fan
