These are not LE cards but Limited Edition card (NOT ABBREVIATED) as THE LIMITED EDITIONS have 256mg or ram not the LE 128mg of ram.

Yes i see that now yet it is going to be a wait for a 256. Yet someone should check out what they can do with the 128. some of the 6800 have gotten to gt speeds, of course at high res it drops off, yet maybe at low res these will do better then the 6800

Yep I got another LE. It came with the correct clock settings.....325/1100. Everything worked great. Didnt bother to look at the serial number, was too excited to see if it was gonna work Havent done any bios updating just yet, will do that later tonight.

Well how well is the card running? This is a RMA replacement directly from eVGA right?

Any word on when Newegg and ZZF are getting these back in stock, or if any other retailers are selling them?

It is possible that no more will be sold like this. NewEgg hasn't had them listed for quite a while i think?

The card is running perfect. I have it flashed to run 400/1100 right now. So far my best on 3dmark03 is 12300. Im using the 66'81 drivers. So far so good:thumbsup:

thats because everyone but us poor souls with the ZZF cards are settling in with their excellent new toys and spending the passing days gaming in peace.

It's been close to 2 weeks now and I haven't even see it in action!!!
Darn ZZF and eVGA. Don't know who to blame now.

This RMA is taking ages!

Well, no more are being sold, so all the people with them have either got theirs running right or waiting on RMA. Mine came from ZZF.. it runs 425/1100 all day long at 55idle/80load. 24k 3dmark01, 5.3-5.4k 3d'05.

Thugs and Aonic are still actively working on Bioses.. but they are taking a much deserved break after finalizing the Ultra bios.. the GT bios should be finalized this week sometime, and after that there should be little else to be done. If more of these cards end up on the market, you may expect this thread to pick up again, but I don't foresee any more being sold.

P.S. This thread should have just been stickied weeks ago, and will be useful for months to come!

I've been contemplating on whether or not to keep mine because i'm using Win98 and the drivers are terrible. The 61.34 drivers hang my comp on a normal shutdown so I have to turn it off with the power switch, and the 61.76 drivers will turn my comp off normally, but they crash and blue sceen constantly.

This is with a fresh re-format (twice to be sure), what little games i've played have been @425/1200 with absolutely no problems so I got a good one. I guess maybe it's time to finally go WinXP, but i'm really missing my 9700 after all i've been thru with this card.

Uhg, I coudlnt stand have 98 on any of my home computers. I help administor 200+ computers in my school distric, and quite a few are 98 and 95 machines, and I just hate working with them. All the teachers and tech labs get XP, adn there are a few 2k machines, but all the student labs are 98 and all the LD labs are 95. Such a bitch to work on. It is time to upgrade man. Newegg has had XP Home for like $80 before, its OEM but who cares. Do yourself a favor and get that.

Make sure eVGA did not charge you shipping on the return of your 6800 as they charged me twice in one day 11.95 and only gave me a credit for one so they still charged me for the shipping. I cannot even get to talk to anybody as the last 3 calls I get a person with a leave a phone number and someone will call you back.

Yep, I'm currently running the stock eVGA Ultra Bios OC'd with Riva tuner to 432/1160 (3D) and it has been perfect. I just played BF Vietnam for about and hour and with the settings on highest, the temp never got above 71 degrees and absolutely no artifacts or freezes whatsoever. I also downclocked to 384/1100 with Riva tuner for 2D applications. Everything is going fine.

I think that we'll all miss tweaking these cards once we find the perfect settings. (And they will be different for every single person) I think that I've had more fun messing around with the new cards settings than I've had playing games with the new 6800LE.

One thing that I did notice, on Doom 3. I set the graphics to "Ultra 1280/1024" and I got great fps and no artifacts, but when I switched to 1024/768, it was like a new game!!!! I'm not talking about FPS....that stayed relatively the same. The graphics actually improved with the lower resolution....characters and demons looked unbelieveable!! I hope that you guys have similar or better results!!!!

I just got my RMA number from eVGA, sending my 700Mhz (artifacts at 1100 like everybody else) ZZF card back to eVGA first thing tomorrow morning. I hate that companies like eVGA don't just aknowledge there was a problem with a batch of cards, and force you to go through all the rigamarole of a standard RMA. I mean, they goofed - I won't blame them or even feel bad if they admit it and do their best to get me a replacement. But this business of "Well sir, it might be your power supply, can you send me the specs of your PSU?" just pisses me off.

For those that have done this, what was eVGA's turn-around time? Did they ship you a new card as soon as the one you sent back arrived? Or did you have to wait weeks?
