Double check to make sure you have the latest chipset drivers for your motherboard installed. Mine runs fine off my 350watt Antec Smart Blue PSU 425/1200. Which bios are you trying to use?

Ya Ive been playing doom 3 on 1280*1024...but ill try playing on 1024*768 see what the difference will be. Thats wierd that eVGA will send you a defective card, because 99/100 times they test the cards before they ship them out. They have a specific batch just being used for RMA purposes, so maybe it is your psu. I had an issue with my psu when I recieved my card. I switch to the Ultra X-connet 500w psu, and everything is fine. Usually RMA take about a week. I had sent my card in on a tuesday and recieved it the next friday.Took them 5 business days to process and two to ship. Not bad.

I should get my RMA back from ZZF tomorrow. Looks like they got some new cards in, because they were able to fill my RMA last night.

ZZF got my RMA card 11/5 and still no news. I emailed them and they said it will take 5-15 days.
Sigh. I hope the $360 is worth it and a working 325/1100 arrives!

Odd.. I wonder how they filled my RMA. Although they have had it since 11/1, so maybe I was on the list ahead of you.

Sure hope I get a new card, and not someone else's return.. Now that would be the icing on this poo poo filled cake for me.

Hmm just got my card from ZZF.. It is in my old box (Same serial Number), but a different card inside. I am going to see if it works, but not exactly the right way to do an RMA in my mind.

It came clocked at 325/700 AGAIN!!!

WTF is wrong with these people??

Atleast it works at 325/1100, where my old one wouldn't. Off to flash the bios. will Update when I know more.

Just got my replacement card back today. They shipped me a brand new sealed box limited edition and the serial number is only 20 numbers higher than my old one. I will bet you this is a 325 / 700 card and they did charge me the 11.95 shipping back even though they said it was waved.For there own sake it better not be a 325 / 700:disgust:



I installed rivetuner and it is a 324/ 1097 card. It runs fine at 350 / 1150 as that is as far as I have gone as I want to break it in a bit.

You flashed it to 325/1100?? Or what? What do you mean it works at 325/1100? Manual O/C?

I Manually OC'd to 325/100 and it worked. So I flashed to the 400/1100 ultra bios. Worked. Now I am running 439/1170 no problems (Driver auto detect max).

I am happy as hell at this point.

When did ZZF received your RMA? They received mine on 11/5. Up to today, the status on that RMA is still processing. This is taking longer than intended.

If 325/1100 turns out well, and gives a significant boost to EQ2's performance with a 2GHz 768RAM system, think I will keep the card instead of selling it to my friend. I don't want to upgrade my CPU or RAM at this point. Maybe a boost of RAM to 1GB might help.

My card came directly from eVGA ( I mailed last Tuesday and received it this Thursday so it only took 9 days total with 2 of the day being the weekend and I live in Pa and they are in Ca.)I will let it burn in for a while before I go for the gold and flash to a gt or ultra bios.

What is funny is I only sent the card back nothing else so I not have 2 of every part except the card. I would be nice and send it to them but since I am having such a hard time getting the return shiping removed from my charge I will have to keep it for now

I got 557 but have yet to open it up and test it yet as i'm thinking of selling it if it doesn't go 325/1100.
The closer yours is, the more i'm willing to use the card i s'pose.

This card has forced me into finally moving from Win98se to XP. I have tried 3 sets of Win98/ME drivers with this card and they all have problems, and two of them are riddled with absolutely terrible problems. Anyone wanting to buy a GeForce 6 product should stay away if they wish to retain Win98.

Also, having come frome the Ati camp recently, I think the Catalyst drivers are superbly put together in comparison to the Forceware. However the recent set had some nicer user improvements I noticed (but I still could'nt use them because they fuxerd up so badly using win98).

I will have to wait to receive my WinXP order before I can truely say that I "like" this card, in fact, I think I am going to remove it and enjoy my 9700pro till I receive WinXP. I do think that I got a decent example 6800LE as I have not had any problems running mine at 425/1200 for hours playing BF1942.

I removed everything , Ram, video card and reseated and reinstalled the GF4. rebooted a few times no luck cleared cmos and it booted fine like nothing happened and it did not even change any bios settings. I then removed all the drivers using driver cleaner 3 in safe mode and cleaned the cab.driver. reinstalled the 6800 and the drivers and everything works fine now. It was weird as the screen was totally black but the system was running.

Well, I finally got around doing some benchmarks, and couldnt be happier with the results. I got 12,419 on 3DMARK'03 at 400/1100 using thugs bios.:thumbsup: I cant wait to see the results with the GT Bios. These cards rock!

It took 1 day as they got it thursday and I had a email that it had arrived and the RMA was processed and the new card was on it's way friday with a tracking number and it did show a friday pickup.

Man what a card after all of the problems. I cannot beleive there is so much difference between my old GF4 4800 Gainward and this eVGA Limited Edition / ultra .

This is a awsome card for sure and just a bitter sweet deal if you got one. Right now with stock bios I am at 375 / 1175 artifact free and runs perfect
