I have had that happen once to, on a 5950U. I have a PC Power and Cooling TurboCool 450, so it wasnt due to lack of power. I THINK what it was in my case was the chord just came loose. Could have been teh same with you. Taking of the side panel or something coudl have cause one to come loose just enough to stop supplying power. As long as you dont see it again, no worries.

I had the power message BEFORE I flashed the BIOS. After the switch I haven't seen it at all. That's with an Ultra 500W PS before and after.

talk about a bump. Anyways, I sold my last week to move to PCIE. I got a X800XL, and when overclocked, it holds up with this card.

No, this card wouldnt stand a chance in doom3, but I hated that game so it doesnt matter to me. I mostly play HL2 and CSS, which I get better framerates in. Other games I have been playing are NFSU2, Far Cry, Riddick, RCT3, and Rome...along with a few others. For the most part, framerates are the same. Aside from HL2, they havent gone up or down, and my processors current overclock is 300mhz less than it was.

In all, I am glad I made the switch. I sold my 6800LE for $300, which covered the price of the XL. After selling my Neo2, it cost me only $30 to get the DFI NF4 Ultra-D, which IMO is a much better board. I was a bit leary that the X800XL woudlnt keep up, but I can safly say at $300 this card is as much a gem and the 6800LE was a $330 last year

Well, for started, HDR is NOT a Pixel Shader 3.0 effect. I am quite sure what it is, but it will work on this card. I believe it works on any DirectX 9 card, someone feel free to correct me, but I do know its not PS3.0. Also, on the arguement of PS3.0, I am not worried. Every source I have checked, PS2.0b is just as good as PS3.0, and if so, how many games currently even use PS3.0... one. It doesnt worry me, I would never ever factor in PS3.0 / DirectX 9.0c when purchasing a card...it doesnt make much of a difference.
