Chief Value carries it as well. Never heard of them- are they associated with Newegg in some way?

Prices are very competitive and they have a good ResellerRating.

Well I just installed my new 6800 Limited edition from newegg.com... Came set up with all the pipes(16) and the memory clocked at 1100. When I installed it I checked the card with RivaTuner and the core was clocked at 325mhz. Ran a couple of Benchmarks, I have a AMD Barton 2500 overclocked to a 2800 running 2.08mhz, 1 gig pc3200 at 333, got a 9739 on 3dMark03. No noise or tearing. So I went to 350mhz and ran it again, no noise or tearing. Ran perfectly, the core temp actually went down from 55c at idle at 325mhz to 49c at idle at 350mhz. got a 10280 at 350mhz. I am very pleased with this card, I had a Ti-4400 before and the new card is just a little louder. I also have a Thermaltake 480 power supply.

It's a slow day at work today, so I did some searching regarding the funky lines I got when running my card. It turns out there's a known problem with the drivers for the bottom DVI which cause artifacts at resolutions of 1600x1200 and above. The middle DVI is run off a different chip, ie not the main GPU chip, and doesn't have the same issues. They are also suppose to go away if the DVI-analog connector is used.

When I get home tonight I'll give that a try and/or power the molex connectors from a different PSU and see if that cleans things up.

I also realized I never posted any performance. I got 10k+ in 3Dmark03 at the stock 325/1100 (with 16pipes and 6vs) Which is a world better then my last card..a radeon7500...which couldn't even run the tests.

Kholdan: I have a very similar setup to yours including the Thermaltake PSU, so your post is good news for me - my card should be here tomorrow, or Monday. Glad to hear it's working well for you.

Kholdan I have almost an identical setup to what you had, hoping the card does as well for me as it did for you! Now I need some new games to test with!!!

Are you going to overclock or at least see what speeds it is capable of doing?

I too got my card today same as the others ~ 16 pipes and 6 vertex shaders enabled
325mhz core / 256mb 1.6ns 1100mhz DDR3

fan was hitting the side of the whole assembly every now and then and making clicking sound...seems to have stopped though. Also, put it on a new Aspire 520w PSU and received the nvidia system sentinel warning about not receiving enough power. I re-seated the molex connectors and it seems ok now. I'll let you know if it pops up again. I'm running it at 350mhz, been playing games with no probs....haven't had a chance top benchmark yet.

I replaced the same card with mine. I bumped it up to 350mhz and my 3dmark03 score went from 3373 (5600U) to 10739.

Thanks OP!

It seems that everyone is getting lower temps by 2-3 when moving the core to 350. What would cause it to run cooler at higher clock?

Got my card 350 1100 very stable. 47 C with two 120 fans. Yes I can add to all those who had confirmed that the card has 16 pipes. My P4 1.7 limits the card a lot, but I was still able to get 3500 in 3dmark 05

I am thinking maybe the card is designed for running @ 400mhz core, downclocked to 325 actually chokes it a bit, so the temp goes up to 54. I am now running this card @ 380/1150, with 49C idle, and 58C loaded(running Doom3 @ 1280X1024 with Ultra high quality).

One question: has anybody here tried to flash the card back to eVGA original spec(with eVGA 6800 Ultra bios rev.4) yet? I got the Bios in hand, but don't know if I really should do it or not.

Hmmmm.....For some reason, I cant clock my mem more than 950. If I do my graphics tear like you wouldnt believe. I dont think it has anything to do with heat, but I am suspecting it could be my PSU. Anyone know what would cause my card to act like this? Again Im a Noob, so take it easy. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!!

So the PS definitely relates to how much you can O/C this card?

I did lock up once when I ran 3DMark05 on the default settings.
I have an Antec SmartPower SL400 PS (their standard 400w), and it should be enough.
