Thuigs, is this the GTU bios?

I noticed earlier
Viper87227 said he was using the VGA dongles

and you replied: yep, thats dual dvi.

But that has always worked on the GT bios, it was the Dual DVI that didnt work.
Im a tad confused.

Thanks for the clarification

Dave

this is not a GTU bios.

he said he was using dual vga to dvi convertors, or am i reading that wrong?
in a way using dual convertors is just as troublesome as straight dvi ~ at least hes got both ports working at the same time

ahh ok,
just checking.
I also run dual VGA monitors on mine, and wasn't experiencing any issues with any of the GT Bioses using this setup.
I thought you meant that the dual DVI was now functional in GT (I cant test as I dont have dual DVI monitors yet either... soon maybe)

Thanks again Thugs for the hard work.

its not that, i used to use nero to make ISO but that wasted CD's
so i found a new way to save the boot info from the floppy and then make a regular ISO, but i guess the boot info is connected with the contents so I had to make a new floppy and get the boot info from that

the ISO i made packs the boot info and floppy contents into 2 seperate files.
it makes the floppy contents a virtual A drive.

i used EZCD5 ~ no need to actually burn a CD, i can save the project straight to ISO.

after I unpack the new ISO I burn it to CD using the bootable CD option as ISO correct and boot from the CD to flash to the newest bios correct? I used the floppy before and it worked fine but got my replacement Limited edition and just have had no desire to flash and take a chance till all the bugs were worked out.

If you have nero, its real easy. Open up Nero (not express) and click open. In the drop down list, change it to all files an point it to your ISO. It will open it and bring up a little box, but Burn and wait about 30 seconds. Then your done.

Damn, I tried the leaked drivers and scored 5686 on the 3dmark05!!!! I'm very pleased with that one!!!! I was running 442/1200. My temps never went above 72.

In my BIOS, AGP Voltage is set at 1.7. It can go up to 1.8. It seems to help my overclocking. Will this hurt the card at all? When I had it set at 1.6, I couldn't go over 435 core. Thanks again guys.

Guys I got the Copper heatsink today from eVGA and installed it right a way.
What a difference about 5C dropped. I also put AS5 on it and used AS Ceramique for ram.
Temps at idle without evga copper heatsink: 53-54
Temps at idle with copper heatsink: 48-49
Woooohoooo!

Thugs does the new ISO have a stock BIOS to flash back to if there is trouble with the GT bios on my card?

I have downloaded this and burned it to a CD in data mode and ISO mode and have boot from CD rom first and the bios files are not opening you could say. Is there something I am doing wrong?

It searches the cd rom drive then boots into windows no flash options as it is not accessing the CD.

It was fairly easy to install. All you need is a screw driver and some stedy hand and nerves to take apart a 300 $ card

Thugs I burned like you said as a data CD no luck as it blew right past the CD read and went to device 2 HD for boot. I them burned the iso as a ISO and the same deal. Is there something I am doing wrong or maybe I should burn the ISO file as a bootable CD. I am using nero 6.6 ultra.

Ps I have the CD drive as the first boot device.
