I guess that the first number means members of the team, the second one the BOINC typical recent average credit and the last one the total credit, right?:beer:

About 5:52 ... just a rough guess... I have bee averaging about 85 credits per WU ... The WU is large and anyone using a phone line should stay away ....

Unfortunately, I really can't justify joining "GRRO" to TA since some of our members do DC for other teams - I figure it's better just to leave the Grand Rapids Radio Observatory as it is.

See you in the rankings though!

In Einstein@home work-distribution contains 2 parts, one large 11 MB-file with some data, and the wu that actually is just some command-line-parameters. There is many wu using the same large file, and the scheduling-server will try to only give you wu using the large files you've already downloaded.

So while the initial download is 11 MB, you'll probably only get a new large file once or twice a month.

Well, you must also download BOINC if not installed it before, and when joining Einstein@home you'll also download the application-files.

If you seems to think Einstein@home-wu is long, you've never run CPDN.

Most computers have crunch-times in CPDN of 3-6 weeks, but the really top-end can manage a wu in 18 days. Oh, and this is with the current model, the sulphur-cycle-model currently in alpha-testing seems to need 2-4 months, 48 days on high-end... Don't know of the coupled model since isn't in alpha yet, but probably even longer crunch-times...

Einstein@Home used to have 30 min WUs, which rocked. But they went to 6 hour WUs to lower the server load when they were preparing to go public.

Roger that! When I was doing the non-BOINC CPDN project, one of my boxes - a p3-933 with a gig of ram took just over 93 days(24/7 continuous) to complete its first workunit.

I've got my A64 on it now, and I'll switch my other two rigs to it when they finish their F@H WUs.
