What does irk me is the game might be all but finished on the PC, but delayed due to issues with the Xbox version. Bethseda said they will only release them in tandem. Yea well Halo was in developement for PC long before Xbox and look what happened to that. Deus Ex 2 also.

My only concern with this game is whether it's even worth it. Hellgate: London will be taking every moment of my free time when it comes out...

I loved the gothic games,I would buy both,in a way I'm glad it is delayed, gives me more time to upgrade my PC and for them to do more bug testing.

Great thing about the Gothic games......they moved at a much better pace than MW. With MW, you spend alot of time getting from point A to point B....even if you mod your hero's house to give you transport powers.

Marketing rules? Games are delayed because they aren't ready. If they aren't delayed, then people just like you make more cry-baby posts, but instead about bugs.

This is the way I see it:
Xbox 360 is losing some good launch titles - Bad (even though I don't like the 360)
Oblivion is delayed, so I can't play it yet - Bad (unless I'm not thinking about it, then I don't care)
Bethesda will have to to polish up Oblivion - Good

Personally, I'd rather Oblivion be delayed and be better than launched sooner and not be as good.

Ive read some of the posts on the xbox360 forums and alot of the people there are getting the 360 specifically for this game. So it would've of been
a pretty huge launch title.

err you guys , if you think Elderscroll is a big title for XBOX 360 then don't buy a console at all ;(

I will be getting Dead or Alive 4 + Perfect Dark zero + Project Gotham 3 + XBOX 360 premium pack. They are all exclusive title and real XBOX 360 titles. I may also got Kameo: Elements of Power if its good this year.

Remember the whole HL2 saga? It teaches us that it's unwise to upgrade or buy a new rig for an unreleased game.

If they really needed the extra time to debug, I don't mind the extra wait. But, if they're delaying the PC version when it could be good-to-go because they're having problems with the X360 version and want to launch simultaneously, I would have to say that would upset me. 4 months just seems like a really long delay to me. I always had a nagging feeling since they never release official system requirements/recs and it was getting close to launch.

nAH , a guy in the company i work for was at x05 and he played elder scroll on xbox 360 and he saw no issue with game ;( ...

anyways he was bragging to death about how the forest looked and i was dieing to see it in action.

Anyways the delay is too fix the performance issue with lower end pc hardware ;( they can release it and it will work geat with anyone having a 6800GT+

You guys really need HDR + Shader 3.0 to really enjoy the forest to it fullest : ) get a R520 or G70 and enjoy the glory graphics

Don't make the same mistake I did. Don't upgrade anything until its gone gold. Scratch that, until you have it in your hands. All the parts you buy will be cheaper 4 months or 8 years from now, whenever its released.
