ANYTHING?

Dear god kid, what can't you do with it is more the question.

Automotive, Consumer electronics, elec. motor design, nanotech, biotech, IC design, Filter design, Semiconductor design/research, Robotics....the list goes on

do you have 'topics in differential equations as a required class' ?

School screwed me over by JSUT adding it (I have 25 credits left for my associates)

The class is almsot NEVER offered, and I decided NOT to take it after diff eqtns simply because it wasn't required and I didn't have any money.

Now I can;t figure out how'll I'll take it.....

what he said, EE degree is very very broad. You can concentrate on specific topics once you're into the EE part of the program (i.e. junior and senior year pretty much), such as trying to specialize in power, control systems, circuit design, etc... there are many different concentrations in EE.... You can, however, also take a broad range of classes, as I did. I, however, ended up in a job that has nothing to do with EE, but I like it more then I think I would have liked a job that dealt more with EE specifically.... I don't deal with EE related stuff specifically, but the EE degree got me the job, anyway, go EE, you'll have a broader range of job options in contrast to something like mechanical engineering...

I think if I had to do it over, I'd probably not do EE, but maybe do bioengineering or something to do with geological exploration (natural resources). That's where the big money is going to be this century.

im a physics major with comp sci/math minors at kent state right now and after thats done (2-3 yrs) im going to get an EE degree from akron U most likely. (all the math and phsyics will transfur)

i would love to design ICs or CPUs anything in robotics would be awesome too. where would be the bigest places for EEs to go? west coast? where?

Anything that uses electricity is in the domain of EE-dom, from ginormous nuke plants to low power 65nm ICs.
