My joystick came in yesterday and I'm really glad I picked it up. I did a few training sessions with KB&M a couple nights ago then did more of the combat ones last night. Flying with the joystick is so much more natural and more fun than the KB&M (to me). I considered buying a joystick several times in the past but never did for whatever reason.
Docking wasn't hard as I feared but the training mission against the Type 9 was incredibly frustrating. Anywho I'm gonna jump into the game for real the next time I fire it up. Can't wait!
Couple questions about exploring though: is there a limit to the amount of info you can bring back to sell? And is the data lost if your ship gets destroyed? I'm thinking I'll stick around to earn some cash in the populated systems, then head out and explore in a little bit larger vessel at some point...more for the experience than the rewards, but rewards can be nice I'm sure.
