Because the KKK is a right leaning racist group. You keep talking about the KKK as if they represent Republicans. You routinely dismiss the left's mainstream belief in racism, though. If the Democrats cared so much for minorities, they'd help lift up those that need it to reach self-sufficiency, but instead the left shackles them to the plantation with their buy-a-vote way of doing things.

Look at this leftist, I presume Native American (.002% counts now, right?) whine about white males. This is who I picture when I read your posts, btw.
Cries about generalizing the KKK as all Republicans while generalizing a single person as representative of the left.

...while unabashed nazi and kkk sympathizers are actually running on (R) tickets no less.

I feel like these Dump lovers should get their own little term in the DSM V.

You didn't answer my question - why did the KKK originally identify with Democrats and then switch to Republicans? Are you saying the Democratic Party was once conservative but is now not?

I don't know why they switched, nor do I care or think it matters in any way. This is a fringe group that you think somehow will create a "gotcha!" for you. The KKK is essentially a big nothing burger today... what they do has zero bearing on the mainstream direction of either the left or right. They represent the right the same way someone like James Hodgkinson would represent the left.

Probably, I can say without a doubt, this is the most stupid thing I've read on the internet in a long time.

Hahaha, exactly. It's pretty amusing to see him twist himself into knots in order to avoid stating the obvious.

You project, you think the right are the racists yet ignore reality. How many members of the KKK are there? They simply don't matter, they are a fringe group at best. Whether they support the left or the right doesn't make a difference nor does it mean anything in the bigger picture.

I'm just trying to figure out why these avowed, vehement racists are identifying with the Republican Party when you say it is the Democratic Party that shares their views. Are they confused?

You wonder why a fringe group of racists went from blue to red but don't care why the blue have adopted racism as their mainstream? < sigh >

No, I'm saying if the Democrats have adopted racism in the way you claim then the KKK should identify with them, yet they don't. Why do you think that is? Did they not get the memo?

Maybe because much of the KKK is found in southern states and the Democrats abandoned the southern states once it became more profitable for them to buy off minority votes.

So you're saying that a group explicitly founded to promote racism switched parties because they didn't like Democratic economic policies?

Really?

Help me understand a little better, as I'm just here to learn. If Democrats are the party of racism and slavery as you claim, why did the KKK switch from identifying with the Democratic Party to identifying with the Republican Party? The KKK was/is totally on board with racism and slavery so I would have thought they would stick with the Democrats but they didn't. Any thoughts?

Because if you're racist against racists you're the real racist.

More reading fail and sensationalism in this thread.

Trump laid out very specific terms for which he would donate.

Trump discussed the million-dollar wager at a July rally in Montana, while stumping in the state against vulnerable Senate incumbent Jon Tester. Giving himself some wiggle room, he said that if he faced Warren in the 2020 election, he would publicly demand she take a DNA test while on television at a presidential debate.

"We will very gently take that kit, and we will slowly toss it, hoping it doesn't hit her and injure her arm, even though it only weighs probably 2 ounces," Trump said at the rally. "And we will say, 'I will give you a million dollars to your favorite charity, paid for by Trump, if you take the test and it shows you're an Indian.'"

Let's see, he welched this, the hole in one at his golf course, and when he offered $5 million for Obama to prove he was born in Hawaii, and didn't pay it even after he released the long form and even after Trump admitted he was born in Hawaii. That's three times that I'm aware of. I bet that's the tip of the iceberg.

Indeed he did but he's now saying that he never said that.

Also, the rule is 1.5% to legally claim you are a native American and she fits (she's anywhere from 3.5-0.5% which makes her legal claim true) that rule not to mention the DNA test shows that what she has claimed is true.

Of course, Trumps defense should be that she didn't qualify for what he made up that she said so he shouldn't have to pay but the weasely little fucker didn't even go with that, he just went with "nuh-uh, never said it".

This is the President of the US, a lowly little troll who can never admit when he's wrong. Just hope that someone doesn't challenge him because he'd start a war not to have to admit he can possibly be wrong.
