OK I am fat, very fat and am ready to whip my butt in shape. I have been walking for the past couple of weeks but have been experiencing lower back pain after about 20 minutes. I have tried to add more walking into my daily routine by parking farther away from my office, walking a little bit (1.5 - 2.0 miles) after lunch, stuff like that but do not get any intense workouts in. I am looking at grabbing a machine to help me workout at home but need to know what will provide the best workout. I plan to do my cardio on this 5-6 days a week and weight training 3-4 days per week. Budget for the machine is very low, only about $100.00 right now. I know I will be dealing with the lowend of the equipment but will move up as my need require it. Here are two of the machines I came across.
