Including building a brand new factory in Lathrop for MegaPacks after Musk's proclamation about moving to Texas. In all practicality SpaceX has out-grown Hawthorne and it isn't practical to build Starship LV sections in Hawthorne. Also a lot of SpaceX's best engineers probably have moved to be near Starbase anyway because that is where Starship is being built and developed. Raptor engines are built at McGregor Texas. So most of the development action for SpaceX has already moved to Texas. The Falcon 9 will probably be built for another decade but eventually SpaceX expects to phase out the Falcon-9 once Starship is fully developed and customers are comfortable with the Launch Vehicle. Elmo's posturing on Titter is just confirming what was already happening is that Hawthorne would become less and less important to SpaceX.

Had one pull up in front of a hotel while I was waiting for a ride last weekend. Lots of comments, all ranging from "F'in Ugly", to "Really F'in Ugly, to (because it's Boston) "WICKED F'in Ugly". Oh, and one said "Oooh he got the PS2 package", which I didn't understand but by the way her friends laughed I interpreted to be insulting. And yes, it was full of fingerprints too.Oh man, I got a real close look at a Cybertruck yesterday. The stainless looks horrible compared to the old Deloren. You can see strange patterns in it like it's rolled bad. Of course not having any curve whatsoever in that big flat angle rear panel will exagerate any flaws. Personally, I can't stand the crap in my kitchen, fingerprints all over the place if you don't wipe them down regularly. What in the hell was so bad about plain old white. It sure hides dirt better than any color.
