I think he's all there as much as someone in his position can be. The answer here is simple - he wants Trump to win because Trump will line his pockets and give him special power and access. There's nothing more to it than that.If you want to understand just how badly Elon is firing on all cylinders all you have to do is contemplate this: The reason why Elon thought the 2 hour disastrous "talk" with Trump on Twitter was a good idea was that "it would be a good idea to showcase what Trump is like in a regular conversation" - the very same line of reasoning, with the opposite outcome, that someone like Rogan wont have him on.
