Only 4% of marketers overall think X ads provide “brand safety” — certainty that their ads won’t appear alongside extreme content — compared with 39% for Google ads, Kantar said in a report Thursday.
“Advertisers have been moving their marketing spend away from X for several years,” Gonca Bubani, Kantar’s global thought leadership director for media, said in a statement, adding that “a turnaround currently seems unlikely.”
“X has changed so much in recent years and can be unpredictable from one day to the next — it’s difficult to feel confident about your brand safety in that environment.”

I don't think he is. He never was high on crypto (but enough of the sycophant dicklberries hanging on his nuts were super into it so he played at giving a shit). I think crypto is one of the few things that Musk realized he didn't understand at all (and not in a "why are people falling for this obvious scam" but more he literally doesn't understand what it even is) and so he wasn't really going to put real money into it once he realized it was just going to be a scam. AI is another matter entirely, its enterprise level crypto, and Musk thinks he understands it, and Musk is bitter he missed out on the rise, so he wants to try to shortcut his way there. He's doubly pissed because he actually had a golden ticket and then squandered it like a complete dumbass, and then he missed out on the AI boner because of the Twitter shit.
