Will they though? Will a "influencer" (social media narcissist), with millions of followers on the platform, walk away from that? I'm doubtful.

The particular slice of users that Twitter hosts is definitely left leaning and the most likely to bolt if he makes changes they don't like. Twitter is so pervasive, that the amount who read tweets is probably much higher. Think about how of people post tweets in these forums. I don't have a Twitter account, but nearly every day, I read much on this forum, I will see someone posting a tweet.

There are other platforms, but none that seem to fill Twitters role, so I don't really expect some kind of mass abandonment.
