Hello friends,
I am looking for advice on an email client/program that can do this. I have an alumni email address (I am an alumnus of that university), e.g. abc@xyzcollege.edu that forwards to my current email service. I have a free gmail as well as a google apps (.in) email address so I can forward it to either.
I also have MS Office 2013 if that helps.
That works fine. However, I believe that some email clients/programs allow the user to change the sent as email address as well.
For example:
Currently my alumni email forwards to my gmail email account - xyz@gmail
I believe there is some way to change the settings, either in gmail or another provider (I can sign up for another email service if needed and forward my alumni email to that) so that while it actually sends email from that service (e.g. gmail) the sent as email address appears as my alumni email.
I hope this makes sense, if so, please do let me know if this is possible.
Thanks,
desidude
