Email weirdness

Ok on my website www.thiscollege.com users can type into peoples emails and invite them to join the site. Now if you type a gmail or yahoo user it works as expected. However if you send an email to an exchange server it does NOT show up in the inbox or spam...its like it goes into a blackhole...what is causing this?

Could be due to email filtering product. We use Trend Micro IMSVA at work and you can set up custom rules to delete emails of certain types. It can be sent to a spam folder, it can be set to go to a quarantine area on the server or just delete with no notifications whatsoever. If you can check to see if they use any third party email filtering system, that would be where i would look.

I figured it out. Using the Php mailer was the issue...once i made the site directly use the smtp it worked great
