it was typical csi bs, where people post blogs but if you like highlight or reverse the stuff, a different message comes up..

Actually, I know what he's talking about. It's hard to explain, but it's two image layered in photoshop with some degree of opacity. You'll see one image when you look at it, but when you highlight it with your mouse, as if you were highlighting text, you'd see the second image.

It's possible. It's really easy to do. It's called Steganography. Google will give you all you need from here on.

edit: afer reading the OP, maybe i'm talking about something else here. but the goal is the same: to hide data in images.

Actually, it really is easy to do:

What they did on CSI:Miami is very simple. The blogger had a black background with a white font. He then placed words in BLACK font in the blank areas of the page (or between the 'white' words). When you highlight the page, the 'white letters' would disappear and the 'black letters' would appear as normal.

I think it was DVDEmpire used to place a '!' in the same color as the background between every word. I know this because I tried copying a few descriptions for eBay auctions o) from them and the '!' would appear on my background.

It seems like a majority of people in here don't know what he's talking about. I remember several x-rated pics a few years ago which were normal, non-porn pics on the surface, but showed naked women when highlighted.

I know what those are but the OP was comparing it to what was shown on CSI:Miami last night (he edited it out of his post though)

i didn't edit my message only the title.. basically i wanted to show my friends that that blog stuff was bs and you can hide hidden pics on the normal picture.. but the idea is the same.
