i bought new cooler master 500w power supply in fry's. after i pluged into the board and ran the computer it was very noisy. even worse than the old dell 305w. but the air flow is pretty good. right now the temp of card is 60 degree what can i do? need instructions, i dot want to burn my pc.

60C is nothing.
Though granted, knowing what video card you're referring to wouldn't hurt.

I'm not following what the question is...if you're worried your video card is going to burn up at 60C...yeah, not likely.

If you're really worried, at some more/better case fans or leave the side of your case open & see what happens with temps.

60C at idle may be a bit high. I was getting high 40's to low 50's with my 7900GT at idle. Make sure you have good case ventilation. Take the side panel off (if you can) and see if your temps drop substantially at idle. Check the fan on the card to make sure it is spinning.
