Eminem is a good battle rapper and general MC

but I do think he's kinda fallen off.. not sharp like he was before, now he just seems to go for the
tried and true shock horrorcore route in his rymes

He knows his demographic (teen angst kids) and squeezes them for everything they got..

But then again, who doesn't?

Jay-z has played jigga to hell..
Ja Rule has the wanna be thug catergory on lockdown
etc... etc..

Anyways. although he doesntt always show it.. Eminem has mad talent and can use

Uh, just personal preference, but Ludacris has much better songs than anything Eminem has put out. MM's voice just gets annoying to me and his beats are weak. Just personal preference thought cause i dont listen to rap.

Rap wise these guy's are pretty bad, I don't know how the HELL Jay-Z got ANYWHERE. His voice sucks, he's slow and raps in almost complete monotone. Dr. Dre is great with his music but once again his voice sucks and he's slow. DMX has somewhat catchy music that becomes old VERY fast, he's slow and thinks he's 2 Pac. Ja-Rule has a very unique voice but he's not very creative with it, he's slow, and he's way to into himself. Eminem......., I'll refrain from commenting on him because I think he's something far beyond crap. These guy's are "Made for TV", nothing more.

I'm confused how Eminem can talk about ANYONE elses parenting skills? They guy walks around with a gun slapping his wife and singings songs about killing her with his child in the car. Yeah he's a wonderful roll model for all of us. Not to mention the fact that he probably beats his wife and all the turmoil that surrounds his life and his stupid actions that his child has to witness and go through. it's just like paying dues... if you can beat someone above you battling, then you get his respect and you get respect from others... they dont necessarily hate each other (though they probably do)... but thats how some rap competitions are setup... you against another MC on stage, with the beat in the beat in the back... that's actually what got eminem to where he is now... dre caught him on rap olympics 96? i think 96 (i think he got 2nd place actually)
