The last few months have been crazy...
1. Celebrated the 1 year anniversary with wife-positive
2. Dog I got from pound less than a year just dies in backyard, vet thinks bad ticker- negative
3. Get new puppy from pound- positive
4. Wife is preggers -positive... then negative when I start thinking about my company I started two years ago won't be enough to raise my clan, but become positive every doctor appointment until I worry I can't afford what the little guy needs
5. Wife is laid off at work - negative, even worse, since she was the one for our health care and insurance.
6. A competitor folds, thought well enough of me, sends me his clients- positive, now I can pay for my kid and wife.
7. Find out being pregnant is a "pre-existing condition" and she can't be added to my insurance, because I am self employed without enough employees (I need at least two), I have no other recourse- negative
8. Only insurance option is Cobra, $500 a month- negative, but better than not having it I suppose.
9. One of my dogs I have had for 13 years starts vomiting, getting sick, vet finds tumors at his ass blocking the GI tract, confirms dog has cancer- negative
10. My family has nearly biblical argument over nothing, everyone won't to talk to each other, my wife and I refuse to "pick a side" so we are ostracized from both- negative
11. Sick dog gets better on his cancer treatment, -positive
12 notice other old dog has growth on face, turns out to be a tumor also -Negative.
13 sick dog with tumors in ass now downward slide, I question if I should put him down instead of treat cancer- negative
14 Tell family about expecting baby, little guy reminds everyone about family, brings family back together, all is forgotten/forgiven - positive
15 Am told I am hosting Thanksgiving, since wife will be due about then, so all 15 of them will be there when wife is either ready to burst and give birth, or has just given, but want everyone to back to getting along - not sure if positive or negative.
16 Best friend moves to new town in different state for a new job- negative for me
Ok, just needed to vent a little. I rarely post things like this, but thank OT. I have no idea who any of you are, but I do want to say I appreciate you guys, total strangers and all.
