here below I quoted winky who says that ordered a case and he got a tracking number already. How did you get it winky? Was it the regular ground shipping or the 2 day Fedex shipping that you chose? You are lucky!

Now if we could just figure out why Winky's order was pretty much randomly shipped (since many orders placed before and after Winky's did not ship yet as far as we know)...

I didn't order anything from the company, but have been reading this tread off and on - actually, I did have a very sour taste in my mouth because of the way they have been operating for the past few weeks. I can't believe any company would undertake a major move and a Web-site redesign during the same period of time. One would think that they would have moved half of their customer support group to the new location and gotten them up and running before moving the second half. I guess I'm more of a strategy person and can't even imagine doing something in such a f*d up manner.

However, I do hope that all of you who have ordered stuff from them receive your merchandise soon.

I doubt winkys order was randomly shipped, based on reading resellerratings, it is likely that Winky randomly got an email and most if not all of our equipment actually shipped. Their are more then a few people who said they got their items the same day that they received the email saying they were shipped, and since we have noticed changes in the stock of their items, it is quite likely that they just aren?t updating the website to show whose equipment has shipped and as such the emails aren?t being sent out (maybe due to the redesign of the website or the move I don?t know).

No positive response from UPS when using EMS order# as a reference#
No SX830 case
But as I said in earlier posts, I will wait a few more days to see if EMS gets things sorted out after their move

I am betting that the majority of us will eventually get backorder notices, or some other way of them trying to get out of fullfilling the free shipping orders on heavy items. I think they were just using our credit cards to raise money. Also it was at the end of the month, which seems like more than just a coincidence.

I ordered the z560 speakers on friday (7/26) and got the ups tracking number e-mailed to me on wednesday (7/31) around 10:30am even though it had shipped on tuesday. The tracking number was kind of useless though because ups delivered the package to my front door at 11:40am on wednesday. Here's the tracking info:

Is there a way that you can go to UPS website and find out if there's somthing for us waiting to be delivered. Just thought that maybe our items got shipped already and we just haven't received emails with the tracking numbers.

By the way I checked the EMS Computing's website and their prices are way up than they were last weekend and they are not offering free shipping anymore!

I got the cancellation also, now how many weeks/months/years until we get our credit cards refunded. Companies like this deserve class action lawsuits against them!

I would also like to validate yellowperil's comments. I too know one of the employees @ EMS, and I asked him about the situation. I did not order anything from them, but I was concerned after reading many of the posts on this thread. I got confirmation from him that they are going to honor all orders. They are moving to a much bigger building and are experiencing some downtime because of the move. On top of moving, their e-mail server took a dump (hence nobody getting a confirmation e-mail). They are working rapidly to get moved to their new location and get up and running as soon as possible. They are supposed to begin processing the orders in the queue tomorrow (Monday). In the near future, they are going to be redoing the site and their policies (hopefully for the better). I asked my friend why they were weren't telling their customers the truth...and his response was "They (EMS managers) told us not to. They try to keep the customer in the dark." I don't know about you, but I think that policy is the worst business practice ever. Oh well, good luck to all of those who have ordered. I will keep you posted if I learn anything further.

The funny thing about the (form) cancellation email is that they said, "In the unlikely event your credit card was charged, a full refund will be posted to your account within 3-5 business days." Buy the posts I've read and my own experience, I think they meant "likely", or is this just another lie from them to keep us in the dark so we aren't diligent about checking our cc accounts? What a mess.

I placed an order on 7/27 and they charged it same day. Now they canceled the orders, WTF

If I don't see the credit in a week, I will call the credit card company.
