Filed a complaint with the BBB. I doubt anything would be done though. Will call my credit card company too. They usually have more clout.

I also got the order cancelled email. I placed the order on 7/29 and just got the refund today, hopefully they get to you guys soon.

Ordered Sat. 7/27 received confirmation. Card charged that day---appears in online banking Tues. 7/30. Cancellation email 8/4.

No refund yet

I got my refund back today as well... Never ever ordering from these guys again... At least, from the way it looks, they're refunding everyone... (or trying to...)

I certainly hope so. Still no refund for me yet Looks like they're in random order (at least one reply in this thread ordered after I did and already got a refund). About as bizarre as the random shipping they did of some people's orders.

I got my refund on 8/6 after being charged on 7/31. They had a nice little, interest free loan at my credit card company's expense.

I also received a confirmation letter from their local BBB about my complaint. At least this will hurt their BBB rating. Hopefully it'll be as bad as theirs on reseller ratings.

Not that it's any good. I just tried it. Can't get to a real person. There isn't even a category for refunds/cancellations. Looks like you can only leave a message if you go through option 3, 1.

D'oh, that makes at least one more person who got charged AFTER I did, and got refunded BEFORE I did.

Finally saw my refund in online banking. It was dated for yesterday.

Hehe, I sent them two disturbing more angry emails earlier today though. Serves 'em right

Hi,

It's nice to see that this thread is still going. It's like we all went through a crisis kind of like being in the titanic and survived. I don't know if I have gotten my refund, but I will check in tomorrow morning. I hope EMS has given me the refund. It gives me my breath back to hear that some of you guys got your money back. I hope I get my money back.

haven't got my credit back yet, I think I ordered on the 30 or 29th. Anyways I already talked to my credit card company and they said I wouldn't have to pay anything if they screw us, but from the looks of it they are starting to refund the money anyways.

You go out of town for a few days and all hell breaks loose.

I made an order on 7-28, and recieved a confirmation e-mail.
I haven't recieved anything else from them....

How do I cancel this order and get refunded my money. I can't
find anything at their website about cancelling an order.
Help......

well a few days ago we all got emails that are quoted several times in this thread stating our ordered were cancelled because they couldn't be shipped in a timely fashion and in the "unlikely" event that our cards were charged we will be refunded.....

a few people actually got their stuff so maybe you will too since you haven't got the cancellation email, but I wouldn't count on anything from them.

I e-mailed a few times asking where my stuff was (i.e., I got no canel e-mail nor tracking numbers). I got no reply, but they did credit my charge card on 8-8-02 (ordered on 7-27-02).

I kinda think this was a total SCREW-UP on their part UNLESS they actually did CLAIM (to their creditors) that ALL our orders at the end of July were REALLY "accounts receivable" (i.e., they need a loan and ILLEGALLY inflated their AR balance sheet to secure the loan).

I'm still puzzled about the whole affair?

It seems to me that SCREW-UPS at web-stores almost always happen over the weekend when no one is working at the company who can correct the problems.

No communication from EMS; I've been refunded, it took three days for it to show up on my Providian online statement.
