I did an order with them over a year ago for an Antec SX1240 or whatever the model is, it's a big freaking tower. Anyhow, it took them 2 weeks to ship the dam thing, when they did I got it within 5 days, but they kept telling me they were temporarily out of stock, and that was the reason for the delay.

I've just received the cancelation email from EMS too.
Needless to say, I'm pissed!

So everyone can stop speculating on when their orders will be shipped. It's just not going to happen!

I agree. I am not very happy with the way EMS has handled this incident. I just got my cancellation. They seem to have no problem charging your card or cancelling your order only after they raise all there prices up. I will probably not deal with EMS again.

Seems obvious to me EMS needed an influx of cash to end the second quarter.

Turns out I was correct in having them on my "do not patronize" list.

So tell me guys... Did they take the money and run? Did I get screwed? Will they refund my money? Do I have to contact my bank about this?

I knew the prices were too damn good to be true.

BTW: These are the slimiest bastards, nowhere on their site do they have anything about them "moving", nor do they prevent you from adding items to your cart when there are backordered (even though the real time stock check says they have hundreds of the damn things!).

Good News I have been speaking with a great customer service rep. She has been returning my emails and she got my order processed. No trouble , No headache, No nothing but my monitor shipped super fast. She was extremly helpful and even sent me the tracking number since she noticed one was not sent to me automatically. 6months ago when I ordered a SX830 Antec Case it arrived with no problems. I think the main problem this time was that they were moving. Yes it was not fun to not hear from them but there answering machine message did briefly state that they were moving. Next time it would of helped to of had a small EMS crew personally answering our emails and I think that would of kept most of us happy and willing to wait for the 8th. Once I heard they were opening up the doors again on Thursday the 8th I just waited till then and emailed them again. Things were looking bad but I was pleasantly surprised after the 8th. I guess they just needed to finish their move. I will shop with them again. Great Prices and Extremly helpful Customer Service. My item shipped out yesterday from California and will reach Washington on Thursday.
