OK, I read the OP and part of post #2 which skewered the OP...
Obviously the OP is naive concerning goings-on in ATOT, however I wouldn't call him/her an idiot. Obviously the OP is NO idiot. Hey, life is a journey, we are all pilgrims, doing the best we can. If you don't dig it, don't knock it.
Like the song says, "always think positive, because that's the only way to live."

With his attitude toward lust, he's setting himself up for a solid case of self hatred.Now having read further posts by the OP I am cutting him some slack because he seems to be well intentioned with his comments. Even if he is a little naive and socially unsophisticated when he writes, his heart is obviously in the right place.
Excuse me, but it seems to me that you have some schizoid tendencies. It's not fatal or necessarily permanent, but you should work on redeveloping your thinking. It's a process. I suggest watching Youtube videos of Alan Watts lectures. You can pick up some of his books, say "The Book (On the taboo against knowing who you are)." There's no shame here, you aren't doing badly, a lot better than most people, actually, but you should engage in some transformative experience, best initiated by exposing yourself to art (in various forms) and literature. Just saying...I want to let world know that I am a positive person. It is true that there are more positive people in the world than negative people Last time I checked, nobody is perfect. We are all human beings. I am no where near perfect. People & myself included will never ever be perfect in Life.
This is life as we know it folks. I don't want to live in misery Eor think negative all the time. Depression is the enemy making people think so negatively. We must fight depression every day in our Lives.
