All of the troops will have died for nothing if we pull out before the job is done.
How many more Americans must die because of the Dub's fsckup?

As much as you might want it to be, the mess in Iraq is not all on "the Dub's" shoulders.
Enough of it is to place the majority of the blame for this mess on him.

Sure, if you want to discount everyone that voted for it, all of the intelligence that supported it, other countries that believed the same thing, a previous administration that believed the same thing, etc...

But none of that is important, down with the Dub!!!:|
Typical apologist. If he didn't give the word we wouldn't find ourselves in such a huge and disasterous mess. I'm sure if McCain of Gore would have been elected we wouldn't have fscked up and invaded iraq.

I know, bringing up facts that get in the way of your fanatical hatred of Bush makes me an apologist. Take off your crazy goggles for a minute, I am not making excuses for Bush. I am saying that there are a lot more people to blame than just him.

If congress didn't give him the authority to do it then it never would have happened either. If Saddam would have stuck to the UN resolutions after the first Gulf War then it never would have happened. Etc..
Fanatical Hatred? Crazy Googles? I don't hate Bush, I think he's a terrible President and his fopriegn policy has been disasterous for America which generations to come will suffer from.

He and his cadre of Handlers used the fear and shock from 9/11 to push their war against Iraq through. Of course there are others who are at fault, the Democrats who went along with it as not to be called unpatriotic by the Bush team, the Press by going along with it instead of doing their job and exposing it for what it was and last but not least those who voted for that asshole.

Still it was Bush who led us astray and being the leader who led us astray the blame should fall squalrely on his shoulders. I also stand by my claim that no other Candidate at the time would have invaded Iraq following 9/11 because no other candidate had it on their agenda heading into the election and would have used 9/11 to push their ill advised agenda..

As much as you might NOT want it to be, Bush was the "decider", so now he's the scapegoat.

Sh1t may flow downhill, but responisbility flows uphill.

I'm perplexed by the anti-war attitude. How could leaving Iraq in any way, shape or form prove to be beneficial? The Democrats are just desperate to get Bush to leave Iraq before his term ends, that way they can blame the war on him in perpetuity. Once Bush is out of office, if (god forbid) a Democrat is elected President, there is no way he would order the leaving Iraq because everyone knows it would mean the destruction of a free Iraq and any credibility the US still has with the world. That is why the Democrats in Congress will never vote to cut off funding for the war, because that will attach their name to the defeat. All they can do is demagogue or try to put unconstitutional restrictions on Bush.

Does that negate what I said?

Congratulations! You just made fun of Bush without replying to anything.

Was there any point quoting me?

Down boy, you misconstrued my remark.

I think the only reason withdrawl is being considered is because of the sheer hopelessness of our involvement there is starting to be realized. You can't pacify a civil conflict with a knife in the gut. It will never happen, ever. We'd either have to send such a massive, brutal military presence that could actually keep the entire area secure by force (and we don't have the stomach or the resources for that) in hopes the Iraqi's wouldn't just get even MORE pissed off at us or we re-shift the focus of the operation from a military perspective to an international diplomatic effort. Option number two allows us the ability to reposition and reconstitute our forces in preparation for more direct threats against our interests.

HA! So your telling us all, if crazy bush wanted to pull out right now..... If he ordered a complete pull out they wouldn't pull out?

OF course we would be out of Iraq RIGHT NOW if bush gave the order. So, every american that dies is of bueshes fault! And the asswhipe is sending more americans....

It's all his fault. Man, talk about not seeing the forest through the trees.

Agreed... Ending the war will cause even more death and destruction... As americans, we may have gotten into mistakes before, but leaving Iraq would even be a bigger mistake...

No matter if you were pro or anti-war before this point, I really do think that the vast majority of rational people realize what a colossal disaster and disservice would be done to Iraq by pulling out "immediately".

Sorry I wont be signing this. The majority of polls of soldiers show they believe in the mission and think it foolhardy to leave. But I guess their opinion doent matter.
