Ender's Game

Anybody here read this book? I just read it (in one day :Q). The book really kept me reading. Which is odd. I'm usually the type of person to put a book down rather quickly... But I read the whole book all the way through. It was cool. What did you guys think? BTW, I had to read it for an english class on popular fiction novels.

its an excellent book, a really good way to introduce people to sci-fi books, it just gets better from there. You should read Dune by frank herbert now that is a masterpiece.

It's a good book. I read it a long time ago. The other books in the series (the prequels) are good. They are all relatively new. I didn't care for the sequels.

Pretty good book, I liked it a lot, but it was very light on the sci-fi......it was almost a normal fiction book, with a little spice thrown in. But a good book nonetheless.

I read this book. I really enjoyed it, Enders Shadow was possible better. I recremmend it

The whole Ender's series was great. Im still waiting for the next one in the second series to come out damnit!!

Dune was good, but I couldnt ever get into the series.

Great read! I'm glad you liked it.

I also liked the three sequels and the "Shadow" books. A lot of people didn't like the sequels, but give Speaker for the Dead a try at least. And most people like the "Shadow" books (Ender's Shadow, Shadow of the Hegemon) a lot. [Hey, who didn't like Bean?]

It was always tough to find the second book the library (I was in jr high at the time ). But next time Im looking for a book and cant find the 3rd fafhrd and the grey mouser book I may pickup the second dune book. That is, of course, if the next ender's book doesnt come out first

Read Ender's Game prolly 10 times, read the entire series it's an amazing series, and i'm definitly not the reader type.

I'll have to check out Ender's Shadow some time. Hmmm ... Dune, well I've played the game, but haven't read the book. That was a good game.. Remember Westwood's Dune II?

I loved Ender's Game and Ender's Shadow!!! I really couldn't get into the other books in the series. I read one more, i forgot the name but it wans't on the same level as those two books. I even made my sister read the books and she now has a cat named Ender and her next cat she is getting will be named Bean.

Anyone know what happened to the movie?? I know there was one being made but I haven't heard much about it lately.

Hey, I just finished Ender's Game and I'm now reading part 2 in the series, Speaker for the Dead. Both are excellent books.

Everyone here has read Neuromancer by William Gibson, right? Well, if not I HIGHLY suggest it... possibly the best scifi book I have ever read (and I've read a lot).

Yeah I read this book on the way to Chicago. GREAT book. From people I've talked to the other books kind of suck (depending on what part of Ender's Game you liked) but Ender's Shadow was AWESOME...
