ENERMAX EG465P-VE is confusing supply to say the least. ENERMAX has used the same model number on several similar power supplies. I own a few. The older versions have a rating of about 431 watts. The newer ones are rated at 460 watts. Directron.com had the Enermax EG465P-VE 431W (PS-EG465P-VE) for $45.99 plus shipping last November. (bought one) NewEgg had EG465P-VE (460 watt) for $64.20 last July. (bought one) Both supplies have been working just fine. The one from NewEgg has additional shielding on the cables. The output NewEgg vs Directron: (+3.3v: 35a vs 38a) (+5v: 35a vs 44a) (+12v: 33a vs 20a). These are only 2 power supplies with the same model number. ENERMAX may have others. So be sure to look at the specs and select the one that meets you needs. As I said both worked for my application just fine.
One thing both supplies exhibit, they are very quiet. I replaced several 450 watt (ATXPOW450PRO) from StarTech.com supplies just because the fan noise drove me crazy. The StarTech.com supplies worked just fine also but the noise was excessive.
