Enermax 365P fan changing direction?

I haven't seen this one covered anyway, but forgive me if it has. My hometown has started getting some warn days, and with it my 1700+ running at more than 1900 mhz is getting toasty (over 55C). I opened the side of the case and put my hand under the bottom fan on the Enermax PSU and it's blowing, instead of sucking. The result was that the PSU appears to be blowing hot air right into my CPU cooler. Not good.

So, last night I took apart the PSU and turned the fan over, thinking that pulling air from the bottom of the case over the CPU would be a good thing. I started the computer up and it was sucking great, so I sealed her up. I checked later on and it was...BLOWING AGAIN?!

Am I missing something here? Why would it want to blow all that hot air over my processor? I'm working on getting more fans going in the case, but the whole theory of blowing air from the top of the case down seems flawed.

Any suggestions on this?

Are you sure it was blowing and are you sure it was sucking after turned it over? The fan CAN'T spontaneously switch directions. Probably what you felt the first time was some air coming back. I don't know if due to turbulence or if its hitting something and bouncing back but it happens. You can feel a little bit of air blowing back from most fans.

You're right, it was reflection. I guess that having a 92mm fan pulling up and an 80 going out is going to produce reflection. Time to head to Fry's to get some 4 pin to 3 pin fan adaptors so that I can add more fans to the case.

I have this ps and the bottom fan sucks in air from the case. You are either mistaken or you got one which was improperly assembled.
