Enermax Case

Have been doing some more research on cases and I have
decided to go with the Enermax 305 Case for $65.

Here's how I chose the case:
1) It's not aluminium but I won't be carrying it around to LAN parties.
2) It's only $65 and comes with a 350W PSU.
3) It's got a window/side fan/top fan so I don't have to make my
own since I don't have the tools and it's just my first time building a
computer plus I'm on a tight budget.
4) It's looks okay.

Here are some questions that I have:
1) Does anyone have this case or seen this case or knows
someone with this case? Any problems/cons with it that I should
know before I buy cuz I couldn't find reviews on it.
2) Will 350W be enough for overclocking? (will be using 1600
and epox 8k5a2+)
3) What fans do u recommend the top/rear/front?
4) Do u think the black one or the silver looks better?

Any other suggestions/advice are welcome too! Thanks!

you can put a 120mm fan in front to , go with the Enermax Clear Blade Fans , there Quite and Look very good!

I bought a CS-A1QX-06 awhile back and the Enermax cases are very nice. The 350W PSU should be able to do exactly what you want of it, but I have no experience with that specific board and CPU combo. I agree with techiedude, use the Enermax adjustable speed fans (in your choice of color- navy or magenta!). Both the black and silver cases look good, but will make color matching the drives a pain. Consider stealth mounting the optical drive and losing the floppy altogether. Also, I'd dump the sound sensitive neon on eBay. I just don't see much use in them- if I want a light that flickers I'll strip one of the wires and leave the connection intermittent. Buy a quality 12" cold cathode and mount it vertically along the back wall of the case. It illuminates the inside much more evenly that way.

Hehe, I got the same exact case from Xoxide during X-hour for 40 bucks, 50 shipped. It's a very nice case, plenty of room for everything. I got the black one, but it will be easier to color match the silver. It doesn't look okay, it looks awesome with the bluish tinted front acrylic. It is also the acrylic that cause my biggest complaint. Because the acrylic in the front, the air for the front intake comes from the bottom of the case. I'm going to mod the front a tad, so it opens up, but the acrylic is going to be a pain to get again if I mess up.

The first time i saw them (at the MPCParts warehouse in fact... local to me) I did a double take... the blue tint and the window shape are seriously cool if you ask me. I didn't hawk it super close as i was in a hurry, but it has all kinds of curb appeal.

I would have a pretty hard time deciding between black and silver... but would prolly go silver from looking at them (i had a really hard time deciding between black and silver on my Li- li when i bought it from them... but went silver then too.

That is the case i ordered from CASE for £50 i am STILL waiting for delivery as they are out of stocl (as they are so popular ) it looks to be a really nice case for the money it is. it can also hold 5 FANS so it shud be good for overclocking (that is if u can get a good air flow going on in the case ) neway i hope u like the case i know i will WHEN IT ARRIVES

Does this case have CD ROM Covers? So I can use my beige drives? Or will I need to worry about color matching?

the esiest way 2 get around it is 2 put the things that you take ou tof the case 2 install the CDrom drive n stick em on the bezel that ejects i did it and it looks quite kool

i just got this case in black, and it looks awesome. it comes with the power supply, the light, and a clear side fan. its a good value and it looks good to me. nice case, very well worth it imo.

yep i have the silver 1 i i think it is WELL built and looks GREAT allthough they could have put the side fan on BLOW not EXTRACT neway it is a GREAT case for the money and is well worth the buy

well anyway ya its a great case, but i cant measure the front fan...is it a 120mm?

the front fan can be 120mm or 80mm there is the screw holes for both. and nope it was extrct not intake when i got it! which was a shame! but stilli am happy with it even thou i will be getting a brighter light for the inside as it dont seem to be that bright!

another thing is that the PSU isnot a Enermax 1 (i dont know y!) but still it is doing its job and i havnt had any sudden unexplained restarts YET! n i hav a Xp1800, CDRW, DVD, Zalmon CPU HS, and all the fan slots full o ya and a Fan Bay! so it is handleing that allthough it is not Overclocked YET but it will be SOOOOOOON
