You mean the Senna who crashed and died after FIA outlawed a bunch of technological driver aids for the '94 season.
The Senna that was infamous for all his collisions (arguably done to take out competitors and win the championship).
The Senna who won his first championship in one of the most dominant cars F1 has seen (MP4/4) (and would have lost to Prost if the modern day point system had been used), his second after crashing out Prost, and his third largely because Williams didn't get their FW14 ready in time (if the FW14 had been as reliable in the first half of the season as it was in the second, then Mansell would probably have won the championship).
yeah I'm not really sure how that proves that the driver is more important than the car.
Honestly I can't help but think, that if Senna hadn't crashed in San Marino, then he would never have been mythologised to the point that he is today.
Seriously? Could you be the biggest ass ever by tainting his crash implying it was the FIA banned aids, which caused him to crash because of his lack of skill or something that stupid? Really, that is an incredible jump and disrespect to Senna.
The point you made was that the drivers don't really matter. But instead of debating the point that YOU made, you go on a rant about Senna.
And about the MP4, you ignored the whole point of it, which was that if the car made all the difference, why did Senna routinely out lap and out qaully Prost? If the car made all the difference how could one driver put a second on his teammate in the same car?
But no, you take the chance to disparage Senna, whom is universally looked upon as the greatest driver by just fans but his peers. Is it because you came up with nothing, so instead you go full ad hominem on Senna. Classy!
