I thought this thread was about EA origin. Just realized it was about a PC manufacturer. Im sure AMD is all butt hurt that a company most have never heard of will no longer use their GPU's. I never understood people who pay someone to build an enthusiast level machine anyway. Why is this news?

Wow, anything negative toward AMD just brings out the paranoia. Seems logical to me that a small manufacturer would simplify its manufacturing and support by going with only one vendor. Personally I have an AMD card and have had no problems with it, but nvidia's multicard setup tends to be more trouble free and optimus still trumps AMDs switchable graphics in mobile. Dont really see any justification for a bribe here. You can always make up stuff if you want I guess.

Yeah so a tiny OEM has all these issues and the major ones don't? This is simply the next phase of Nvidia's smear campaign because they don't have squat to combat AMD on technology. Smaller companies are more easily bought, and this story will doubtless be reported in all the major sites anyway.

It's a shame, Origin PC were such an unbiased PC supplier prior to this announcement. Oh wait, no they weren't.

Not too long ago some boutique pc builder dropped Nvidia for AMD becasue they claimed Nvidia's prices were too high.

I can only imagine the people clamoring over this were just as outraged since they could just simply have charged more for the Nvidia GPU's and let the customers decide what they want.

Sorry, can't remember the name of the vendor. But, nonetheless...these types of stories do bring the lulz reading people's responses.

That was my thought too. It's not like any of the system builders have any cred whatsoever on forums. This type of announcement just reinforces why...
