I suppose baseball, golf, and nascar are considered sports here. :\ And as for having an object go back and forth between two teams, the same thing happens in basketball, nfl, and hockey ya moron (whomever said it), only thing is they don't make up extra points that aren't there (hockey excluded). But enough negativity defining sports, now for constructive criticism...
I watched the game and enjoyed it. I like how the american announcers overrate the US team, not saying that they're bad, but the need improvement. A pretty full strength US team lost to a second rate England team (borderline second/third rate imho). Don't get me wrong, the US has a lot of potential but they need to work on a few things...passing especially. Also, US plays dirty, a lot of fouls. I guess it's 'cause their used to playing central american teams that hate them. I think one of the main problems is their over-inflated egos. As good as they are, they still think they can take on the whole world. Therefore slacking off in their game. Usually they're up in the beginning and slacking off in the later minutes of the game. Watch their past games and you'll see. It was obvious in the last WC. Everyone doesn't take into account the US was playing teams that were worn out and tired. Teams that have club games 9 months out of 12. To say the US was a success just isn't true. FIFA rankings are bogus because of an absurd point differential equation that doesn't make any sense.
Positives: speed and strength. But honestly, get a new coach and work on passing. What was all the lobbing about when a few ground passes would have gotten the US through the weak central defence of England. US still has lots to learn...
