For the upgrades I'm purchasing, I'm thinking of getting the Enlight 7237 300w ATX case. Aside from the fact that the front has to come off in order to look inside, are there any other disadvantages? I'm thinking mostly in terms of cooling, as I will be putting a 1.33ghz t-bird in it.

uh... I don't think the front having to come off is a disadvantage. in fact, it's more of an advantage. firstly, you won't have to screw on the sides, secondly, the front comes off with just a snap. I could open up my enlight case faster than any other case I have.

PyroHale, that's a good case & p.s. choice, unless you're going to load that system up. I recently helped a friend build a KK266 / Athlon TBird C 1.2GHz system w/ a lot of periphs. All was well until he added his PCI FireWire card, and then the system wouldn't boot - no video BIOS splash, no BIOS splash, nothing.

He pulled the FireWire and an NIC and up it came. He replaced the Enlight 300w p.s. w/ an Enermax 430w and now it runs fine. The Enlight 7237 has a mounting spot on the rear of the case for an 80mm exhuast fan. Additionally the 7237 usually comes w/ an 80mm intake fan in the lower front of the case.

The 7237 has a tendacy to vibrate due to the removable mobo tray and its construction is not as solid as the Inwin series. It will cool as well as any other case and is a good value overall.

I personally like the 7237 for use in builds, except for one problem- it's not the greatest for a close and "perfect" fit with it's removable racks, IMO

Its a good case for the price. I really like the removable faceplate/side panel...much easier than my older cases with the screws in the back. The PS that came with my enlight sucked though. It blew in 6mos. I replaced it with an enermax.

The 7237 is great for the price, if it rattles, drill, and put an extra screw.
