191. I'm guessing the trick here is to make as many tangles with the fewest number of tiles? That is, before filling up the board with tiles, have as many tangles ready as possible.

Yeah. This game reminds me of Settlers of Catan where you're trying to connect your settlements. I THINK the trick is to avoid the edges of the board till the last possible moment and try to maximize the number of tangles in the middle. I can't plan ahead though.

A lot of it is just luck. It will take me lots more tries to match that score. However there are a few things I'm doing. For example when you are close to walls try to see if you can place closed loops against the walls, or make it so that paths from one wall lead right into another wall. That way in the future you can't link to those paths. Like this:

I got like 180 or something when I played it, and only realized about half way through that you could swap tiles, and even then I wasn't sure if you had a limited amount of swaps, so I only used a few.

You can only ever swap between 2 alternate tiles.

They should make a second mode where you can just lay down the tiles first and then hit go to start the line. think i played something like that but with water and pipes.
