ENVISION 19" CRT MONITOR for $100 + tax

This thing is HUGE! I didn't realize my mouse was going to have a lot further to travel to get places. For example, everything I've typed here fits on one line. Including this!!!!!

I got mine today and after getting everything set up mine also looked blurry at 1280 x 1024. I exchanged it at Staples and this one has worse problems.

I don't know what you call it but if I drag a small open window to the top of the screen, the bottom of the window bends in. If I drag the window to the bottom of the screen, the window bows out. I may just have to call them again tomorrow to pick up yet another one. ARGH, I hate dealing with new monitors!

I just bought the 910e online and got it the next day! i love it so far! sure..it's not a flat-CRT Trinitron or Diamondtron...but it's more than half the cost, so I'm not complaining!

I'm thinking about ditching my 17" flat screen monitor and replacing it with this 19".
I'm curious as to what people have to say about the curve of the 19". I'd like to get the 19" becasue of the larger screen, but if the curve of the monitor is too annoying, I may just stick with what I have.

I've never really looked closely at or used a flat screen so I can't answer your question.

What I did want to say is why don't you just buy it and if you decide you don't like it return it.

It's a semi-flat monitor. Definately not as much curve as a TV.

What kind of video card are you using? I had a similar problem last year when I tried to put the EN-710 on a Pentium that jus had a generic video card. the monitor worked just fine with an ATI 8500DV.

got mind yesterday, Box all banned up. one corner was totally gone, the front (where the screen is) of box also has a hole. The monitor come out with no mark or dent. however, the text is a bit blurry. (try all the control) I might go to store and look it up myself, if it is like that, i will return in-store.

Nvidia GF2. I also had the same problem with the a 710e. I exchanged it and problem was gone.

I'm not liking how blurry the text appears on the 910e. This is the 3rd monitor I've tried and text is still blurry but bowing isn't as bad. I may return this one also and just say forget it.

What size does everyone have their screen set at? I've got mine at 1280 X 1024 and wonder if I set it different if it will make a difference.

I just picked one up at the Medford, MA store. Used a $40 off $200. Not as good as the $50 0ff $200, but I like the idea of getting it B+M. No UPS juggling act. Not to mention it's oos.

They Still had 3-4 more, and supposedly have them at the Revere store also.

I ordered 1 on tues at staples.com. Just got email that monitor not available to call a staples 800 number!


Staples.com called me and said they are out of stock and I would have to reorder in 8 to 10days! I was not happy, I explained the rebate expiration date was purchase by 8/24. They would not put on backorder. They then found 4 at a Staples B&M 60 minutes from my house and said they would reserve 1 for me to pick up and they could not ship. They said they would send me a $30 courtesy coupon good at B&m or online for my trouble. I am undecided, but I need to act before 8/24. Not Happy!

ok... I ran the NOKIA monitor test (search google) and everything looks good except for the moire.... its sorta bad, but is somewhat fixable with the moire reduction function... problem is that the screen becomes a tad blurry when reading text =(

I don't know if its just mine... anyone else having this problem?

A few people, including myself have mentioned the text is blurry. I had to change the screen size to 1024 x 768 in order to for the text to be less blurry. If I set it at anything else, the text becomes blurred and I get a headache trying to read it.

I think I'm gonna return this one too and just give up

is there any way to use the 50 off 200 coupon in store? i just called one of the nearby stores and they say they've got 3 in stock...just as i did that the website all of a sudden started showing it available for me...FINALLY....but its not gonna deliver for 4 days. i can wait, but if its possible to get it by picking it up and using the coupon...that'd be great

Today I received my EN-910e monitor. The box was a little scuffed up, but the monitor was okay. Who cares about the box, eh?! I connected it to an ATI 8500DV video card. The picture is clear and the text is crisp.

I used my $50 coupon code in the store. I had ordered on line but they were out of stock. I called Staples customer service and they recommended that I go to a local store for this deal. I had no problem getting the store manager to accept the coupon.

did you just give them the coupon code number, or is there something you can print out? i went ahead and ordered it online, so it'll be here early next week but i could still cancel it if i went to the store...but maybe its not worth the hassle though.
