i wonder who actually makes them because aren't all LCD's pretty much rebranded from some manufacturer.


You will need a coupon and you have to be a costco member to buy. You can just get a coupon from the registers if you go in. It's a orage like packet of coupons. I think we (costco) is actually going to be busy for black friday this year which kinda sucks but oh well. I think all costco's open at 8am on friday the 28th.

dunno about the rebate but it should allow you to do the rebate on more than one monitor but it's one coupon per household. You use a 50$ coupon and then you also get a 40$ off rebate

Heres a quick hint for Costco members ... I've been to three stores where they keep that week's coupons in a corner of the table where they checkout the items. It should be in a stack at the far edge where the guy picks up whatever you purchase right before putting it into the box and into your cart.

they ghost a little in pretty much all fps', and any dvd that does a lot of rapid panning and tilting, the contrast is closer to 500:1 though on all these that I've seen...it's a good monitor to save desk space and do minor amounts of gaming(depending on how much ghosting bothers you) and looks stupendous for general uses.

Great price....too bad the nearest costco is 1 1/2hr drive for me.

Friend went today to check it out, didn't see it on the floor, asked one of the employees to check for him. The employee went to the computer and check, something came out on the monitor and the employee quickly told my friend it's no avaliable and change the information displayed on the screen. My friend was able to take a quick peak at the information, it clearly says "DO NOT PUT OUT ON THE FLOOR", and yes they do have them.

I was at Costco today and talked to the guy about the LCD. His overall impression was that it was quite good. He said that it wouldn't be on display until the 28th and that he felt it was going to go fast. He said something about it being a special purchase. His opinion was that it was WAY better than the Princeton (which BTW I feel that Princeton is crap based on the CRTs I have seen).

Anyhow, got my coupon. I guess worst case is that I buy one and if I am disappointed, I can always take it back. For the price, its too good to pass up.

I currently have a Viewsonic G810 CRT 21in, which I have been EXTREMELY happy with. The specs on the E9110 seem to be close to the Viewsonic VX900, so hopefully its not a let down.

BTW, the Princetons at Costco were in the 549 range for a 19 LCD...
