Epic Citadel Benchmark

Anyone got to try Epic Citadel Benchmark on Android or IOS ? (yes, it now also has a benchmarking mode)

This thing looks gorgeous for a phone demo (sadly there aren't many as demanding games using UE on Android as Infinity Blade isn't available )

Anyway, on my Nexus 4 i got

Performance level: High Performance:
Average FPS 55.5
Resolution 1196x768

Performance level: High Quality:
Average FPS 54.1
Resolution 1196x768


Anyone else care to run it ?

I downloaded it yesterday on my RAZR HD and played around with it. Ran the bench this morning.

Average FPS: 48.8
Resolution: 1196x720
Performance level: High Performance

Wish the iOS version had the benchmark, as it definitely looks better and moves better. Found a weird texture glitch on the Android version. Will see if I can get a short video.

Hmm, I noticed no texture glitches on my Adreno 320. Also there is a "High Quality" mode in settings that looks somewhat better at minimum performance cost (for Nexus 4 atleast). It might indeed be faster on iOS though, especially on A6, which should be flat out faster.

I've rebooted, uninstalled and rebooted again and it's still doing it on the RAZR HD. Hopefully someone with a US SGS3 or OneX will run it since those are Adreno 225 based as well.

Yeah, confirmed. I don't have decent video recording software but couldn't replicate the bug. I've seen similar problems on Vintage Unreal Engine and ATI video cards before though (think along the lines UT 2003 + Radeon 7500 10 years ago), then it was a driver problem.

Because of the software buttons, we aren't really getting any consistent resolutions to compare against. =/

I see it on my US SGS3. I guess it must be an Adreno 225 specific issue.

It could, considering that despite having the same SoC Optimus G usually performs better than Nexus 4 (at least in CPU benchmarks or when Nexus is not throttling). However it also might not as they currently have almost exactly the same performance, despite the fact that Nexus is on 4.2.2

I think it's a vsync thing. Watching fps looks to be capped as far as I can tell.

High performance or High Quality same results on my Droid DNA.

Not bad for a older SoC, it certainly aged much better than Snapdragon S3.

I need to get my hands on a SGS 2 again to see how it stacks up.
