Epox 8KHA+ fan header w/ Sunon 80mm case fan

Greetings ! I hv a Epox 8KHA+ & intend to put 2 Sunon 80mm case fan on the system. Case fan details: -

Fan Speed : Normal
Manufacturer P/N : KD1208PTB2
Current : 0.17 Amps
Input Power : 2.3 Watts
Speed : 2900 RPM
Air Flow : 39 CFM
Noise Level : 32 dBA

My question are : -

1. Is it safe to plug the fan 3-pin socket into the mobo fan header ?
2. Any other case fan (80mm) is better ?

i've been running 3-pin 80mm case fans off my mb headers for a long time now no problems.these are low rpm(3200 rpm) fans and wouldn't suggest any delta's or tornados but think you'll be fine.
as far as which fan is better it all depends on how much flow or noise you want.stick with a lower rpm brand name ball bearing fan.sunons are fine use what you have. :<)

I have one case fan driven off the motherboard. No big deal.

If you have 6 PCI expansion cards in the slots and several drives, then you might have to read up on power supplies.
