Epox 8RDA+ stability

How stable is the 8rda+, esp. in comparison to the ASUS nforce2 solution (A7N8X)?

i have an 8rda+... once i've found a stable speed for my processor and ram, i've had ZERO crashes....

it's uber stable... it's hard to find something this day and age that is not "stable"

I have the 8RDA (non + version) running my 2000+ XP (not overclocked). This is my first build of a high-end AMD system and I have had ZERO crashes in 3 weeks of use. From what I have read, the Epox boards are excellent for OC'ing.

I highly recommend it, and its noticeably cheaper than the Asus Nforce2 MBs...

Once you find a sweet spot you cant crash the damn thing if you try. Currenty at 7.5x180 and rock solid (new chip gonna be here tomorrow, cant wait!)

How stable is the 8rda+?

I have been running this board for the past two weeks without a single crash. Since the 8k7a, Epox rates as my favorite mobo manufacturer!

that sounds awesome. I say this since my current computer won't actually boot, and when it used to boot, it would freeze a minimum of once per 3 hours of use. So stability is a major concern for me, and one of my friends was saying that they trusted ASUS over EPOX. But as you say, I guess most boards are pretty stable nowdays...

Ditto. I had problems with stability, but after I eliminated a bad RAM stick, I left for 12 hours and came back with Prime95 reporting nary a warning or error.
