Well I've finally decided to go ahead and repair my suicidal computer. What is the difference between the 8RDA+ and 8RGA+? Stability wise, is there any difference? Are there any nForce2 boards within this price range that are more stable?

TIA

the only difference I know is that the 8RGA+ has onboard video (equivalent to a GeForce4 MX), whereas the 8RDA+ doesn't

Quick question:
What exactly is the difference between the 8RDA and 8RDA+?? What does the "+" offer over the regular 8rda?

The 8RGA+ also comes with a higher Vdd by default, this should allow for more success in getting to the magical 200MHz FSB. My 8RDA+ has a Vdd of 1.58V and I can only get 195MHz with any stability.

So, if you are an overclocker, the 8RGA+ might be the better choice (if you can afford the IGP).

8RGA is a better OC er out of the box besides the dual onboard video. It includes Vdd options as well I believe higher Vcore and Vdimm. There are mods you can do to the Epox 8RDA that will accomplish this. I wouldnt go for the 8RGA simply because you can get the 8RDA for 88 dollars but the 8RGA is a hefty 140. Though at 140 its still a very good buy considering the extra onboard features and especially the better OCing BIOS features as well.

8RDA.com will show Vdd tricks as well as other mods. A very good guide to doing it as well. I mean come on an extra 52 dollars for sub par onboard video, firewire bracket, and better sound! For 52 dollars you can buy Athlon XP 1700+ Tbred B and hit over 2ghz with this board.

Or you can spend $70 at ExcaliberPC and hit over 2.4Ghz with a guaranteed miracle chip, LOL

I went for the 8RDA+ due to the fact that I was trying to keep total under 200$, and wanted a quality PSU. I'm not going to overclock alot, just enough that I don't have to worry about stability (~11x166)
